    The ELx405 family of washers has been designed to meet the challenges of various applications, reliability, easy maintenance, yet cost effectiveness. The ELx405 series of washers use BioTek Instruments’ patented manifold design to overcome the difficulties presented by high density microplates and allows virtually the same functionality to be applied to the 16×24 matrix 384-well plates as that is expected with the 8×12 formatted 96-well microplate.

    Skanwash 300

    The SkanWasher 300 is an automatic 96-well microplate washer designed to give reliable, reproducible results, with no cross-contamination between wells, and no carryover from plate to plate. The washer incorporates flexible software, and can handle most requirements for kit manufacturers, and research and clinical scientists.

    The SkanWasher 300 has eight user-defined programs, two inlets for buffer and rinse, and a special rinse program. The fluid pressure can be adjusted individually for each program, making it suitable for very gentle washing, as well as tougher, more turbulent washing.

    Cell Harvesters 96 / 384 Well

    For high throughput testing, the 96-well cell harvesters will harvest all 96 samples simultaneously, or harvest 24 wells at a time, selectable by rows. The 96-well cell harvesters have flexible programming to meet the specific needs of a wide variety of applications. Parameters can be individually set to adapt the program to most standard applications: twelve washes from any of three inlets, separation of radioactive waste, timing of the prewet, and washing and drying sequences.
